The Craigmillar Adventure project (Capro) was set up in 1992 as a recognised Scottish Charity and is a registered Company Limited by Guarantee, part sponsored by the City of Edinburgh Council. Capro holds a current AALA Licence and is an Edinburgh Approved Provider. Capro provides a city wide service.

Capro is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of members of the community and representatives of organisations that work to support communities.

The staff team are managed by the Project Co-ordinator, Graeme Morrison, and work in partnership with the Capro Board to further the objectives of Capro.

Capro has  comprehensive public liability insurance.

Capro offer various outdoor educational experiences to stimulate learning and development. We offer activity programs to suit the needs of each group that we work with and are focused on meeting objectives within the scope of personal and social skills development and accreditation as well as for recreation and fun. Capro encourages and promotes active and healthy lifestyles. We strongly support the Cirriculum for Excellence Through Outdoor Learning.

Capro also employ a handful of carefully selected associate instructors. All staff members are well qualified and experienced in dealing with a wide variety of group types & situations as well as each particular activity. You are assured a safe and enjoyable service from our friendly and approachable staff.
